Privacy policy
Your privacy matters. This page explains, in plain language, what data World Time Hub does and does not collect.
Last updated: 27 June 2026
The short version
World Time Hub is free to use and does not require an account. We do not sell your data, and we do not ask for personal information to use the tools. Your settings and chosen cities are saved locally in your own web browser. Optional analytics and advertising (including Google services) load only after you give consent, and ads are non-personalised if you decline.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this website is sh route s.r.o. (Kpt. Nalepku 3, 040 01 Kosice, Slovakia). For any privacy request, contact us at info@theworldtimehub.com.
Information stored in your browser
To remember your preferences between visits, we store a small amount of data using your browser’s localStorage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. It includes:
- Your theme (light or dark) and 12-hour or 24-hour clock preference.
- The cities you add to your world clock and meeting planner.
- Your recently used and favourite cities.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this website.
Analytics
With your consent, we may use analytics — such as Google Analytics — to understand which pages are popular and how the site performs, so we can improve it. Analytics are configured to collect aggregate usage data and IP addresses are anonymised where supported. No analytics scripts load until you accept the analytics category in our cookie banner. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally, and we do not sell it.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display ads using Google AdSense. With your consent, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and, if you allow personalization, to tailor them to you. If you decline advertising or personalization, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalised. Analytics scripts load only if you accept the analytics category.
You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
Cookies and consent
The core tools work without advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics and personalization cookies are only set after you consent; if you decline advertising, any ads shown are non-personalised. For full details of the categories and the third-party cookies that may be used, see our Cookie Policy.
Managing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the control, available here and in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant scripts from loading on subsequent page views.
Third-party calendar links
When you choose to add a meeting to Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, you are taken to (or you download a file for) that third-party service. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We do not transmit your meeting details to any server of our own.
Your rights (EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, data protection law gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Because we do not require an account and store preferences on your own device, we typically hold little or no personal data about you directly; however, third-party services you consent to (such as Google) may process data as described in their policies.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@theworldtimehub.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
